Many days, I often go fishing. 
I just got home from fishing this morning. 

I hooked caught about thirty fishes. but They were too small to keep, so I let them gone.
Recently, I always hooked it seems that I am only catching small fish.es recently, even no one.

(In biology, for instance, fishes is used to refer to multiple species of fish.) But in your notebook entry, "I caught about thirty fish." (or) "I caught over thirty fish." is what I would suggest. </em><em>I hope this helps.</em>
