I really hate English when I have to take exams! Personally, I do thibk learning a language should be a fun, like English. I am sure actually many students have passion for English learning but the leteral exams like grammar and skilled writing stiff student's egar of learning it. I am a viticm of that. Well, I do admit the function of exams, but I am not that one who want to be a famous English writor, I am not even very good at Chinese writing! And I am not going to be a Grammar expert to teach others, I ca't even tell some Chinese Grammar system! I just want to use English to talk to others who have so much difference from us, to know something....

Well, I do admit the function of exams, but I am not that one who want to be a famous English writer, I am not even very good at Chinese writing! And I am not going to be a Grammar expert to teach others, I can’t even tell some Chinese Grammar system! I just want to use English to talk to others who have so much difference from us, to know something....

As an English speaker learning Chinese: I agree with you. I think learning a language is fun, and love learning new ones, but I dread having to learn all of the grammar rules. I think that they're pointless, but I know that in the end, it really pays off! One of my Chinese friends learning English in China actually has better English grammar than me, which is pretty interesting (:

I am sure actually many students have a passion for learning English learning but the literal literary exams like grammar and skilled writing stiff can dampen student's eagerness of learning to learn it. I am a victim of that. Well, I do admit recognise the function purpose of exams, but I am not that someone who wants to be a famous English writer, I am not even very good at Chinese writing! And I am not going to be a Grammar grammar expert to and teach others, I can’t even tell understand some parts of the Chinese Grammar grammar system! I just want to use English to talk to others who have so much difference are so different from us, to know learn something....
