English doubt
There are 3 ways to pronounce "ed" in the regular verbs. My doubt is about the verbs with sound of "d" ou "t" like invited, divided, etc ED with sound of ID. Some english teacher pronounce invitid, dividid other one pronounce invited, divided. Both pronunciations are correct?
Thank you

English doubt
There are 3 ways to pronounce the "ed" ending in the past tense of regular verbs (d,t,id/ed). My doubt is about the verbs ending in with sound of "d/de" or "t/te" like - such as invited, divided, batted, submitted etc ED with sound of ID. Some English teachers pronounce invitid, dividid other one pronounce them invited, divided. Are both pronunciations/Is either pronunciation are correct? i cannot think of a regular 'd' verb!

This sound can be a little confusing. It will make an /id/ sound "invitid" but the sound before the "ed" ending won't be accented strongly. Instead of acTID it would sound like actID.
If you need more help message me and I can make an audio recording. :-)

i think neither is correct, it is the shwa or neutral vowel, neither id nor ed but 'd
