My trip to Lanzarote
Lanzarote is a little island in the Canary Islands. There is (It is not next to?) Spain, but is near to the west coast ("west coast" no es un nombre formal) of Africa. Lanzarote is a volcanic island that was (mejor asi) formed around twenty millions years ago. The countryside terrain ("countryside" implica un area vasta) on ("in" es como "dentro de...") the island is like a desert because in the 18th century there was some a series of volcanic eruptions ("activity" sugiere menos destrucción) that occupied around (para dar variedad, diría "about" en vez de "around"; "about" es mas comun) 30% of the island. On the island the wind a is great protagonist (en inglés no decimos "protagonist" mucho, quizas con los caracteres de una historia) and a lot of people go surfing or wind-surfing. The most important city of is Arrecife, in the middle of the island. The Canarian are very nice people are very nice. Normally, (solo comas con pausas) in Spain, the people are very nice because the weather is very warm, but (siempre necesitas una coma antes "but") in the Canary Islands the weather is more warm than in the rest of the country. For example, in January, while it is snowing in Madrid (todos los verbos en ingles necesitan sujetos -- en este caso, "it"), in Lanzarote the people can go to the beach (sin "the", suena mas natural, significa "cualquiera persona alli" en vez de un especifico grupo). There are a lot of beautiful beaches in Lanzarote bathed on the the Atlantic Sea Ocean. (se dice "bathe/bathed" no con el agua/mar, sino con el sol por lo general)
On my trip I was there (en ingles necesitas decir "was" + el lugar o "there"...decir solo "estar/estuve" a solas como en espanol no es correcto) during for 5 days and I visited the Land of the Fire Mountains. This place is a Natural Park formed during the last eruptions of the 18th century ("of" es mejor porque sugiere los ultimos de una serie). These eruptions involved the town of Yaiza(mejor no repetir "town" dos veces), a little town with all the houses painted in white, which created (which --> combina las dos ideas y suena mejor) This is a very big large ("large" es mejor) contrast between the with black land and the withe houses (mejor no repetir). The best place that I visited was the little island "La Graciosa" ("The Funny Island") (en ingles por lo general no usamos los adjectivos a solas...necesitan sustantivos o "ones"). It is in the north of the island and you only can only go there by boat. ("can only go there" es mas comun) There aren't any asphlated paved streets and very few cars. It is a quiet place where fishermen living live (no se dice "living" o un verbo + "ing" a solas) in peace all the year long.
Before (?) my visit to Lanzarote I recommend that you travel to this little island.
Best Regards
Bien hecho amigo! Ahora sé adónde viajo durante mis proximas vacaciones!
