IN spite of all the preemptive actions, some will not follow the law and willl have to be punished. But instead using longer prison sentences, it would be of more benefit to show them alternatives wayas of making a living, for example teching them a new job. In conclusion, there are many felonies that deserve to spend a time in prison. In spite of this justice shouldn´t center in longer sentences but in convince the criminals not to break the law, or once they do, convince them not to do it again. In order to accomplish this there are any ways, like educational programs in school or adding them new skills when they are inmprisoned. Finally I can´t agree with the statement that harder punishment means more security
