Should wealthy people give away their money for the charity?

These days, I hear some people say that wealthy people should donate more money than the others. Helping others who are needy should be praised, however, it is not an obligation for rich people. We could never blame other people who do not want to give their money to charity because they have a choice of how to deal with their property.
Donating money to the charity is not the only way that will benefit the society. People have a number of choices to promote the development of the human civilization. They can support technology, so that robots can be placed in those dangerous positions like the fireman, which will reduce the number of deaths. Also, they can offer their money to medical research which will figure out an approach to solve the problem of cancer or AIDS.

Nice text and I agree with your ideas, many wealthy people have set up foundations to help improve the lives of poorer, less advantaged or sick people.
