Problems in the accommodation
Instructions: You are a student at an English language school in Brighton and are living in private accommodation with other flat mates. You have not had hot water or heating for some time. The landlord’s workmen have tried to fix the problem but without success.
Write a letter to the landlord. In your letter:

propose a solution and risk the landlord to take action.
Dear Mr. John.
My name is Lorena, I have rent a room in your accommodation one year ago and I and writing to complain about the heating and water.
As you know, I am livinf in the room with other flat mates, each month we have pay the rent on time and never we had had problems with of accommodation but two weeks ago we haven´t hot water and it is a big problem. We get sick because all the moornings we take a shower with cold water.
Moreover the heating needs to be repaird, the winter is near and if it doesn´t get to rapair we have that look for other accommodation.
We want suggest him repairthe heating and we with pleasure will stay in your accommodation also we suggest have a discount of 30 percent because the problems we have had. I am sure that you unterstand us.

This is a small correction on Tom's correction....
Lorena: If Mr. John owns the accommodation then you want him to fix the problems so you are speaking to him.
We want to suggest that you repair the heating. If you do we will happily continue to stay in your accommodation.
