아예 means "whole" "completely" more examples 1. 저는 한국어 아예 못해요. 2. 그 영화는 너무 무서워서 포스터조차 아예 보지 않았어요. 3. 그 사람은 그 만화에 아예 빠져있어요. I would say that that word is usually used in negative context. And also it is often used in normal conversations rather than formal texts :) hope it was clear!
