A special football match

As is depicted in the picture above, a “football match” of taking care of the old father is going on. The oldest son firstly exerts all his strength to kick away his father, who is crouching in the middle of the football field, while the other children, all are preparing to defend the goal in case their poor father get in.
What an thought-provoking social phenomenon!

What the picture illustrates ed  is a prevailing phenomenon existing in current society, that is the young are not willing to assume their responsibility of supporting their elderly parents. Furthermore, it is precisely this kind of immoral conduct that leads to such an fact situations—while they enjoy a comfortable life, their parents live leaning relying (personal preference: leaning does work but i feel relying flows a bit better in the sentence) on poor allowances, without any assurance .

Consequently, it is of great significance for the government to take some drastic measures to reverse this disturbing trend and awaken people’s awareness (personal preference: "awaken people's awareness" can be replaced with "enlighten people" that taking the responsibility of taking caring of for their parents is part and parcel (not sure what this meaning is that you are intending however I would infer that you wish to state it's deemed necessary if not expected) morally just and necessary in their lives. Only in this way can we curb the current phenomenon revealed in the cartoon.
