「ひなまつり」"Hinamatsuri"

日本では、３月３日は「ひな祭り」の日です。
On March 3th of the Japanese calendar it is a celebration called "Hinamatsuri".

これのかわりに「桃の節句」とも呼ばれます。女の子のためのお祭りです。
It is also called "ｐeach festival"Instead of this. this is a festival for girls.

ひな祭りには、「おひな様」と呼ばれている男女のペアの人形を飾ります。
In the "Hina-Matsuri", we decorate dolls of male and female pairs called `O-Hinasama' .

女の子の健やかな成長を祝うためです。
It is to celebrate the healthy growth of girls.  #celebrate & wish?

ひな祭りの日のディナーは、一般的に「ちらし寿司」や「ハマグリのお吸い物」です。
Hina-matusri’s dinner is generally chirashi sushi and cram soup.

デザートは、ひなあられ（米粉で作った甘いお菓子）や甘酒（ノンアルコールの米こうじから作った白い酒）です。
Dessert is Hina-arare（sweetened rice-flour cakes） and Ama-zake(non-alcoholic white liquor made from rice koji).

ひな祭りが終わったら、人形はすぐにしまわないといけません。
When the Hina-Matsuri is finished (#is done も可能）, as soon as possible we have to put up the dolls as soon as possible.

しまうのが遅れると結婚が遅れると言われています。
It is said that the marriage is becomes late when it is put up.  #未来だから

うちの夫は、娘の結婚が遅くなるのを望んでいるので、私がそれをすることを嫌がります。
Because my husband wishes marriage of our daughter becomes late that he hate doing it.
