"Holmes, how did you figure it out? Due to you unusual logic? Or deductive method?"
"What the crappy logic? What the deductive method! It's simple, Watson! Yesterday in evening I fucked around here!"

You could also say "make a 5-pound bet." When we turn beyond the corner and go upon the lane, we will be attacked."
"Well, let's do this. I guess think/say/predict we won't be fought have to fight!" "I fought him"="he fought me", so use the active verb instead of the passive.Watson replied.

"Which gentlemen?" "Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson." "Which men?" "I don't know. Just some men."When they stood up Watson gave Holmes five pounds. Then he asked:
