My ancestors

I’ve seen a few of my ancestors’ pictures with women from Russia. When I went to my gramma's house, she showed me a photo album of our ancestors, and she said we have Russian ancestry. She told me that that’s why my dad and she have not black, but brown eyes and hair. I think this is not an unusual thing for a Westerner. But Japanese people who don't have black eyes and hair is rare and strange, especially in the past. Nowadays, Japanese people don't think much of it, because times are changing. But when my grandma was a child during the Second World War, she was bullied by someone for her color of eyes and hair.
