Review of The Creative Habit by Twyla Tharp
It's definitely a book that changed me and my thoughts about creativity.
I've always wanted to be creative. I guess we all sometimes (or maybe even always) want to become that kind of creative person who devote
s their life to art. Well, music is a good hobby, but I'm not tal
ented enough to become a great musician. That's what I thought.
But then I
've read "The Creative Habit".
Now I know
that I just have to work much harder than I did
before [or "much harder than before"] and not
to be afraid to act. :)
Twyla Tharp is a famous choreographer, but her book is not only for dancers. First
ly, there are so many thoughts and ideas about creativity in
total general.
And secondly Second, her exercises are mostly universal
; you just need to modify them a little bit according to your
field of activity ("field of interest" or just "activity").
So
, (
or "Therefore,") I recommend this book to everyone! It can be helpful even if you're a businessman and you need to
find make creative decisions at work.
