First of all, I suggest you to learn Korean alphabet, known as Hangul. After you master these alphabets, I bet it is much fun to learn korean since you can read whatever is written in Korean, although you do not know the meaning of them. :-)

Don't learn hangul first. It will just bore you. Start with listening to talktomeinkorean.com lessons. Hangul is something you can learn along the way.
