wired in meaning i watched the social network before and someone said "are u wired in". what does it mean exactly? like u engrossed with the computer with headset on or what? thanks in advance guys :)

Yeah your interpretation is pretty much spot on. "Wired in" essentially means "connected," typically in a technological context, as was the case in the Social Network. He's "wired in" in that he's connected to the network, or what have you.
