What does "indeed" mean, and how to put it into a sentence?

It means "surely", "certainly" or "really". This is indeed a curious question. It sounds a little formal or philosophical to say "indeed", I would say. It could also mean "yes". - "We must go now" - "Indeed" (agreed, yes)

hi, it means really or certainly , and you can use it like these sentences: "Can you really play the trumpet?" "I can indeed." If you are indeed a poet, let's hear one of your poems. "That's very strange, isn't it?" "Yes, indeed - I can't explain it." good luck :)
