Difference between weird, strange, odd, awkward
Do they have the same meaning? When do I use them?
And which one do you use most?

Let's go the beach. See that WEIRD guy. He's acting like he's from outer space. Yeah, he's speaking some STRANGE language. I don't recognize it. That's ODD. I usually carry at least $20 in my purse. This is AWKWARD and embarrassing, but can I borrow some money from you?
weird = very strange
strange = not familiar to you, unusual
odd = out of the ordinary
awkward = Uncomfortable and possibly embarrassing situation, e.g., when both your girlfriends come over at the same time and they weren't aware of the other before.

From strongest to weakest, they are:
Weird - strange in a negative way, in a way that makes you feel uneasy.
Strange - can mean weird, but more noticeable, making you look again.  It is not as negative as weird, but still negative to a degree.
Odd - a weaker form of strange and weird - something that is not normal and is noticeable, but not in as strong or shocking a way as the first two.
Awkward - odd, but also embarrassing.  It is usually used in a situation where something odd and embarrassing has happened and nobody wants to be the first one to say so.
