GRAMMAR POINT >>>It is nice to X; X = verb or verb phrase 1) It is nice to eat ice cream when it is hot outside. 2) It is nice to listen to beautiful music. This is how I would write your sentence: To relax, it is nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. "Relax" is both a transitive and intransitive verb. It may or may not take a direct object. INTRANSITIVE He relaxed by the pool. TRANSITIVE He relaxed his muscles before going to sleep.

You mean, "Is it nice to get away from all the city life and relax?". I never lived in a city before but I assume it is!

I do not believe the "to" is necessary. It's okay either way. (But I would lose the "yourself".)
