a multitude of Can "a multitude of" be used with an uncountable noun? I looked it up in some dictionaries, but only found example sentences in which it was used with countable nouns.

'Multitude' refers to a large number of anything. A number implies that whatever we have a multitude of is countable. Multitude is usually used when referring to a large number of people or a crowd of people. I can't imagine its use with an uncountable noun.
