In Spanish we really use the reflexive pronouns a ton, since they are the same for Indirect and Direct O.'s except in the third person.
The Indirect Object pronouns are A MUST when there is a 'recipient' or 'receiver' of the action/object in the sentence. Those pronouns would equal 'to me', 'to you', 'to him/her', etc.
The Direct Object pronouns are ONLY used INSTEAD of the actual Object, as in Te regalo mi coche, where 'mi coche' is a Dir. Obj. If I don't want to repeat that over and over again, I can SUBSTITUTE it for "Te LO regalo".
Ind. Obj: me, te, le, nos, os, les
Dir. Obj: me, te, LO/LA, nos, os, LOS/LAS
Reflexive pronouns: me, te, SE, nos, os, SE
There's more to it when there are double pronouns and what not, but it'd be too much to get into here. Hope it helps!
