Tran Minh Dat
How do you say "5 days" in Korean? Is it "오일" or "댓새"? I think 오일 means "5th day". Am I right?

오일 is right. and not 댓새 "닷새" is correct. 오일 = 5 days = 닷새 :D ex) 닷새째 눈이 내리고 있어!

Hello tran. Actually both mean the same thing 일일 = 하루 이일 = 이틀 삼일 = 사흘 ... 오일 = 댓새 Usually used for one and two days, so 하루 and 이틀...After that, people generally use normal (IE: 삼일, 사일, 오일, ....등)

I'm assuming 댓새 means about five days. 5일 is five days. 다섯번째의 일 is the fifth day. I'm not a native speaker but that's my guess.
