Is there a difference between insightful and perceptive?
how do you use them ,can you give some examples ?thank you

I agree with myvc.
Perhaps I may add that "insightful" implies more of an emphasis on "deep and accurate understanding", 多一些分析的意味,whereas "perceptive" implies more of an emphasis on "highly developed sensitivity",更着重描绘敏锐的触觉.

Insightful - ADJ If you describe a person or their remarks as insightful, you mean that they show a very good understanding of people and situations.
She offered some really interesting, insightful observations.
Perceptive - ADJ If you describe a person or their remarks or thoughts as perceptive, you think that they are good at noticing or realizing things, especially things that are not obvious.
He was one of the most perceptive U.S. political commentators.
