Already is used to say a positive sentence while till is for negative sentence.
For example:
Suppose a girl ask you "can I be your girlfriend, do you have any girlfriend?" you can reply in one of the following two ways.
1. Sorry. I have already one girlfriend.
2. Of course. I have no girlfriend yet.

Hi!
"Already" is used for saying that something happened sooner than expected:
She has already gone on holiday. / I'm already there.
We use"yet" mainly in negative and interrogative sentences.
Have you finished your homework yet? - I haven't finished it yet.

I have not done this yet (=I haven't done this yet)
I have already gone to the store
I haven't gone to the store yet

'Yet' is for questions and negatives:
Question: Have you finished your homework yet?
Negative answer: No, I haven't finished it yet.
Positive answer: Yes, I've already finished it.
