(1) il (2) i (3) sam (4) sa (5) o (6) yuk (7) chil (8) pal (9) gu (10) sip ... (1) hana (2) dul (3) set (4) net (5) daseot (6) yeoseot (7) ilgop (8) yeodeol (9) ahop (10) yeol ... The first line is from chinese characters and the second line is from original korean language. These counting matters are really complicated so you could hardly get used to them but, generally we use the first line when we just read numbers and we use the second line when we count the quantity of things. And we also use the second line for ordinal numbers. (1st) cheotjjae (2nd) duljjae (3rd) setjjae (4th) netjjae (5th) daseotjjae ..... (1st time) cheotbeonjjae (2 times) dubeonjjae (3 times) sebeonjjae (4 times) nebeonjjae ... Hope this help! :-)
