should we use holden or held for the past participle of hold? I saw my friend wrote this sentence: My new smartphone which bought from China has been holden by custom? Anything wrong with this sentence?

It is wrong-- "holden" is not a word. It should be "...that I bought * in China * was held by *customs" but really it should be " .. is being held..." if customs still has the phone.

Actually, "holden" is an archaic present perfect tense, which, while technically valid, is almost never used. So "has been held" is more natural...
