Corrections for questions:
"Do you eat breakfast?" <<If you are asking an American, you should say, "Do you eat breakfast?" British-English speakers will better understand, "Do you take breakfast?" but it would sound odd to most Americans.
You can also ask:
What do you eat for breakfast? <<Asks what a person usually eats for breakfast.
What do you have for breakfast? <<Same as above.
What did you have for breakfast? <<Asks what a person had for breakfast TODAY.
Every American you ask will have a different answer about what sorts of foods they eat for breakfast. We do not have strong cultural traditions around breakfast foods. Some people eat dry cereals in cold milk. Others eat feasts of pancakes, eggs, bacon or sausage. Some eat muffins or other sweet breads, like cinnamon rolls. Still others eat very simple foods like a slice of toast or a small cup of yogurt. And a great many Americans have a cup of coffee and eat nothing at all.
Personally, I eat yogurt and tea with milk most days. Every now and then I also enjoy waffles with maple syrup and mascarpone cheese.

Never "take" with food. You use take for drugs, medicines, etc. and with some phrases, such as: "How do you take your coffee? With milk? Sugar?"
The correct questions are: What do you eat for breakfast, or What do you have for breakfast?

Kate has given you your best answer here. I generally have tea and toast for breakfast. I often also eat a piece of fruit.
