Do i hanve any mistakes? The story was about a man, Dr Filby, who invented a "time machine". In order to set it in motion, he needed a very important component which was in the hands of Colonel Bernstein, who flatly refused to give it to him. So, he decided to steal it but was seen by Dexter, the handyman of the lab, who offered him his help. When Dexter was trying to help Dr Filby, he accidentally locked himself in the time machine. The first and second time, the machine carried him through the past, during the prehistoric time where he met two tribal people and was nearly eaten by a dinosaur. The third time, the machine took him to the futur, where he met an Eloi princess, Weena and lost his time machine, which was taken by the Morlocks, creatures from the underground. Dexter went to the underground with princess Weena to find his machine. At the end, he stayed in the futur, and married princess Weena, with whom he had a baby boy.

Do I (hanve) HAVE any mistakes? The grammar seems to be correct throughout the passage. There were a couple of spelling errors: - took him to the (furtur) future - underground with (princess) Princess Weena - he stayed in the (futur) future - married (princess) Princess Weena Also, remember to leave a blank space after all punctuation marks ( . ? ! , ; : ) Well written passage Victoria...

This is very good, just a few notes: Instead of "(he) flatly refused to give it to him", we would say "(he) flat-out refused to give it to him". Flat-out = completely. When you say "the prehistoric time where he met two tribal people", we would prefer to save "cavemen" instead of "tribal people". Tribal just means "belonging to a tribe", and could describe a modern person as well, whereas "caveman" (or cavewoman), refers specifically to pre-historic people.
