Why using <descent cup of coffee>?
In Friends, Ross said: Man, I don't wanna have to have Joey with me every time I wanna descent cup of coffee.
The question is why using descent, I can imagine that the coffee is falling down into your stomach, it means 'drink', but why not using the other words like have, fall or drop?

That's the pronunciation you heard, but that's not how you spell the word. He says a "decent" cup of coffee. It means satisfactory, acceptable, tasty.
