Can you explain me this sentence?
"My interpersonal relationships are important to me because it’s something that has affected me negatively in the past and I don’t want to relive it."
Why does she say her interpersonal relationships are important to her even when she says it's affected her negatively and she doesn't want to relive it??
I don't really get it......
Can you explain me about this?
Thank you so so much in advance!

Any good or bad experience (here relationships) is important to make a person wiser.

I think these lines explain that everyone has a relation and he or she not allowed others to disturbed that relationship because make a sweet relation is very hard

What I understood that she wanted /meant to say that the interpersonal relationships had an impact which is passive or negative one in her life when she passed or had bad experiences from the past. And maybe she meant to say " I don't want to decrease my hate to those interpersonal relationships as she is scared!!! because of my bad experiences "
*Maybe I just try to understand :D .But you can ask her simply what she meant by her words

oh... so she may mean she wants to rebuild healthy interpersonal relationships because she doesn't want to keep her negative experiences with other people relive? that's why she says her interpersonal relationships are important to her, maybe?

Sorry, I can't figure out the logic there because it is rather contradictory, as you say. I think she may just mean they are an important topic due to their severity in the past, not necessarily that they have positive importance, if you understand.
I just thought I'd add, it would be better to say "Can you explain this sentence *to me*?" in English. Good luck figuring this one out!
