when do I use them?

A presenter is presenting something to an audience. This is usually more of an educational presentation. (Think school presentation?)
Host (Male or Female) and Hostess (Female), are usually people who "host" or take charge of events. This could be for party's or a tv show.
MC or Master of Ceremonies are people who usually presents performers, speaks to the audience, and keeps events moving. They are very similar to a Host. Usually this term is used in the entertainment industry.
Hope I could help! They are very similar and confusing.
