the root word is piraso, or piece.
kapiranggot came from the word,kapiraso.
kapiraso means, just like a small pice, or very small.
but kapiranggot is even smaller than kapiraso, so it means, painfully, resentfully, bitterly very very small. Like, O how stingy ! O how un-generous to give me kapiranggot!
yeah, there's a hint of bitterness and resentment to it, because what is little has been made even less and less due to meanness or stinginess, not always of other people in particular, but of life itself. Then someone will answer, Ganayan ang buhay! Or, well, that's life!
Kapyanggot? Never heard of it, but maybe it is just a contraction of kapiranggot.
