What does this mean in Korean?
이런 사람 또 있을까 일주간 연락 안돼요
Does it mean "There is no one like him/her. I can't contact with him/her for a week"
If this is correct, is it talking about one person or a larger number of people?

It does mean only a person regardless of its gender. You should add 'deul' at the end of 'saram' if you want it to mean people.
