Neither sentence fragment is correct. To express the amount of trade, you might say, "the level of trade". Or you might say, "the price at which <good> is being traded" For example: "The level of trade in the United States has dropped due to taxes on imported goods." "The level of trade in Europe was affected by Britain leaving the European Union." "The price at which oil is being traded has dropped due to increases in renewable energy sources." "The price wheat is being traded at is affected by government subsidies."

Neither fragment makes any sense. Do you have a full sentence?

Many thanks, Posta: The full sentence I want to convey is as this: Our aim is to quantify the level of being trade for the species observed in the markets. So, what is your suggestion? or I was wrong in fact?

While I agree it would be better to see the full sentence you are using...if you want to know if 'trade' or 'traded' is best to use, I would suggest 'traded.' Please share your full sentence so we can be certain.
