what is the meaning of "the very something"?
for example, whats the meaning of "the very job" in this sentence?
since he or she is not usually inclined to the very job, the future promotion and possible increase in salary are not likely.
or whats the meaning of " the very fact "?

Look at the definition of "very" as an adjective here http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/very (scroll down to see it)
The usage of "very" in the example sentence you have given is wrong. What the writer probably means is "this particular job" (as opposed to other ones).
To understand the usage of "very" as an adjective, you need to see a lot of real-life examples. It's probably better to copy precise collocations first, before improvising your own e.g. "on the very same day" (= on precisely the same day) , "the very thought of it puts me off" (= just the thought of it alone, in itself).
Cambridge says that this is a C2 topic and so I would not approach this topic if your level is lower than C1.

Hey, Negin!
The "very" in this sentence is working as an intensifier. Normally it's used to emphasise the significance or relevance in the context or even to give more intensity to the noun. For example:
The very back of the room
The very beginning of time
In the context, it express the idea that this person is definitely not dedicated enough, then he/she will probably not earn a salary increase.
I hope this helps!
