Sentir - I smell or I feel?
Can someone please explain the difference and translate the following to French:
I feel bad.
I smell bad.
You feel bad.
You smell bad.

I feel bad. = Je me sens mal. (the verb is "se sentir", it voices your state of mind.)
I smell bad. = Je sens mauvais. (the verb is "sentir", it voices what you perceive by smell or touch [OR] that you are releasing a smell, usually negative.)
You feel bad. = Tu te sens mal.
You smell bad. = Tu sens mauvais.
