Hmm...practical poiunt of view they are right..But, as for me, for example I have 2 perfect friends from Germany. One of them is a boy, we was on vacations togather in summer 2006, and since that time was never meeting, just sms or icq, or e-mails, but we still interesting in each other and I always glad when we send me messages. The second one is a man, he is 40 years old, from Germany too, we was meeting on social network and never meet in real, but its so interesting to chatting with him!And, by the way, he promice to visit Moscow this summer..So, who says that online friendship could not be real? P.s. oh, and one more example. On livejournal( internet diarys) I meet girl, she was leaving comments to my posts, we was chatting and than decide to meet in real( she is from Moscow too), now we are the best friends=)) So, friendship is good, no matter if its in network or in real)

I think friendship is friendship no difference online or not love is love and friends are friends on any place on the world so friends on net for me I love them like my friends on my life I respect them and try to help them so on my opinion that friendship is a very good thing very useful thing on all its kinds

My dear friend I am agree with views of my all friends, becaue now world is becoming global village. Now we can say it is one world one nation. I have so many friends in so many social networking sites. I got that all are very nice friend. So many friend talk with me on webcam also and I never feel that they are not good. They are very nice friends. True frfriend and true friendship is the precious gift of Almighty God. We should thank to Almighty God that we have so many true and nice friend.

International online friends can be very helpful as they will give you ideas that you haven't thought of before. I value all of my online friends even though I haven't met them in person.

no way! i think having online friends is great. the one thing is you can express yourself and release your frustrations. the good thing is my online friends are far away from here and help me to see other sides to the story--they are less biased than my real friends. if i have problems with friends here and i talk to other local friends, they will "bagua" :P or gossip to each other. too close for comfort. so i think it's good to discuss problems with online friends; they will give good advice because they are looking at the situation from the outside.
