Like what fdmaxey has already explained here are some examples for the following adjectives: 1. You look gorgeous. (especially for women, but can be used for men too.) 2. Your little sister looks cute. Or That puppy is cute. (used for animals and people especially young children). 3. Lisa is beautiful. Or Mr. Lee's house looks beautiful. (used for people, places and things to mean attractive) 4. Marta is a pretty young girl. Your dress looks pretty. Andrea's bag is very pretty. (used for young girls and things) 5. John and Lin are both good-looking. (used for men and women - attractive or beautiful) 6. Sheila is a graceful dancer. Maria is so graceful. (used to describe the person's movement) 7. This Korean dish is very hot. Careful! That pan is hot. The weather is so hot. I feel hot. The young actor looks very hot. (used to describe temperature, taste and also how attractive a person is.)

"Beautiful", "pretty" and "good-looking" would be the most subdued descriptions of an attractive woman, with "beautiful" probably the most intense of the three. "Cute" is usually used with a younger woman. It can also be used with a child (human or animal) "Gorgeous" and "hot" are highly charged descriptions, implying the person using them was immediately impressed with a woman's beauty. Also "hot" implies an intense sexual attraction.
