How to write foreign names/words in Chinese 大家好! This is my first question about Chinese. I am studying Chinese mostly through YouTube courses and some other websites (like digmandarin.com etc.). My question is, how do you write foreign names in Chinese? I learnt that sometimes, it is transcribed into Chinese characters according to meaning. So, if I want to learn how to write my name in Chinese (or even introduce myself 我叫【name】), then how can I say it?
