In English, "corresponding," can mean sending a correspondence (letter, message), but can also mean "related to" or "regarding." So, if you want to say that you need the tracking number that corresponds with (is attached to) your specific package, the first sentence works well. You can leave out the portion in parenthesis if you do not plan to communicate with them as a follow-up and only intended "follow-up" to mean you would look for the package to arrive on or about the date associated with the tracking number.
