What's the difference between "practise" and "practice"?

Practice is a noun. Example 1: I went to the doctor's practice. Here, "practice" is a location - doctor's surgery. Example 2: For studying, my usual practice is to answer all the questions first. Here, "practice" is a routine NOTE and exception : this is also the US spelling of "practise" (see below) Practise is a verb. Example: I like to practise playing the piano each day.

I believe the main difference between the two is that 'practice' is mostly used as a verb or noun in the US and it's incorrect when used as a verb outside the US, while 'practise' is mostly used as a transitive in Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland. Practice is a noun. Refers to the act. Where as practise is the verb that means repeating an action.
