she said I should <tell> <have told> him what I knew Ten years ago, she said, "You should tell him what you know." Ten years ago, she said I should tell him what I knew. Is "should" correct, or should I use "should have"? Both sentences are supposed to mean the same.

Yes. This reported speech is correct. Ten years ago, she said, "You should tell him what you know." Ten years ago, she said I should tell him what I knew.
