A father is always a man, a parent can be a man or a woman. A brother you have the same parents, a brother in law you are connected by either your spouse or your brothers spouse. A nephew is male a niece is female. A child is someone under the age of 18, an only child is someone without a brother or sister. Hope this helps!

A father (male parent) and a parent (either mother or father) A brother (male sibling) and a brother in law (husband of your sister OR husband's brother) A nephew (male child of your sibling) and a niece (female child of your sibling) A child (anyone under 18 years) and an only child (refers to someone that doesn't have any siblings in a family)
