The Spanish alphabet has 29 letters, which are all female. Remember that in Spanish there is enough correspondence between phonemes and letters. LETTERS: A - B - C - D - E - F - G - H - I - J - K - L - M - N - Ñ - O - P - Q - R - S - T - U. A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, Ñ, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z. Se suprimieron 2 letras del alfabeto, la ch y la ll, dejan de existir. A partir de ahora el alfabeto español tiene 27 letras.

yes, the letters are all female, but dont exercize their "feminity" (at least, not publicly"). Dont understand why -1 to lobogriego. His answer is good!...although double letters are not considered part of the alphabet officially. (for instance Q, must always be followed by U, so QU..Q alone doesnt appear in any written text)
