5 simple steps to getting your message out to others 1. Organize your message. If your message is concise and you know what you are going to say to your audience, they’ll understand more of what you are saying, as you’ll understand what you are saying. 2. Make your message easy to follow. Organize your message in points. An example would be when using a powerpoint to number the points/topics you are going to make in a sequence. 3. Make your best points first and last. There is nothing better than an interesting beginning and a strong end. 4. Be personable. What this means is act like any other ordinary person. You aren’t just selling something to get money, you actually want to benefit clients. Also maybe tell a joke or something for an ice breaker with your audience for them and you to feel more relaxed. 5. Keep your message short and concise. If your message is too long your audience may get bored. So make all your major points within a good but concise message.

Go abroad to learn a new language! There are many ways to be able to afford to go to a foreign country. When I was in university, I did a one-year exchange program in the south of Spain. While I was there, I also worked at a hotel and taught English. Teaching English brought me a sufficient amount of income. An exchange allowed me to pay as much for courses in Spain as I would back home in Canada. Working at a hotel allowed me to interact with guests speaking Spanish. All of this helped improve my English and it wasn’t even that expensive! Also for cheap places to stay when you aren’t working or studying perhaps, stay in hostels. You will find them in all major cities and pay 10% of what you would pay for in a hotel! But remember, you are sharing a room with other people but that is the fun of it, trust me. Because everyone is just like you, travelling and exploring!
