Hello, how are you? This question is for german tutors. I have a friend who wants a translation of this word: "erfüllung", and, if it's possible, something about the origin of the this word. She is a teacher of Philosophy at the Central University of Venezuela, so, if you ask for the context of the word, it is related to philosophy. If you need the phrase in which the word is written please let me know.

In Venezuela we eat Arepas or Empanadas for our breakfast. Both meals are made from corn flour.
Arepas are a kind of "corn bread" that we open up and fill with different content:
Cheese, ham, vegetables, eggs, meat, chicken, fish, ect, and of course, we also add butter to it before filling it up.
Empanadas are a little bit different: empanadas wrap the filling and are fried in a pan.
We accompany our breakfasts with coffee, juices or both. Tea and chocolate may be drank too, but, this is less common.

Yes!! I play the venezuelan cuatro, some drums and the maracas.
My mother told me that when my grandfather died no one took an instrument at home because there was a lot of sadness.
Seven years later, when I was born my mother and my uncles started to play again for me, as my coming brought happiness to the family.
Music was always around me (Live music), and I remember as I child the emotion inside me when I asked my mother or my uncles to play something for me. I like to make others happy when they ask me to play something, specially if they are children.

In my country there are a lot of different musical styles (I am talking about traditional music in this case, there are of course several styles in other types of music).

In Venezuela, we have a musical style and ritual called "Fulía". Fulía is sang and played to honor "The Cross of May", formerly known as the "Tree of May" (the tree of life). It is a ritual done to thank mother earth for the crops, rains and good hunting times, the ancestors, and the Christian God.
Along with the fulía chants, we also recite "décimas", a form of poetry that came from Spain: it has ten verses of eight syllables.

Fulías are not the only chants to the Cross, as almost every state in Venezuela has its way to thank mother earth for Rains, Crops and good hunting times.

In Spanish, we have two verbs "to be" and two verbs "to have". These verbs are "ser" and "estar" and "tener" and "haber". We use verb "ser" to talk about features/characteristics or the action of being something, and "estar" to talk about the localization of something/someone, to talk about temporary states, and sometimes, to say "to reach".
Try to describe the parrot writing sentences using the verb "ser" and try to write sentences using the verb "estar" to state where the parrot could be located or things that the parrot do temporarily.
"Tener" is used to talk about possessions, so, try to write a sentence talking about features/characteristics or things that a parrot may possess. "Haber" is just used to talk about the existence of something in certain space regardless of its' location, and it has an impersonal form which is "hay". Where can you find parrots? Try to write a sentence using the "hay" impersonal form of the verb haber.

The term “Latin” and “Latino” are connected to the “Latin language”, a language that is unspoken nowadays. The languages that come from Latin are not Latin. The term also connects us with the Roman Empire, and we are very far from being Romans.
The term “Latino” also refers to someone who speaks a language that comes from Latin, so, this term should be equally applied to Spaniards, Portugueses, Frenchs, Rumanians, and Italians, and Italians, by the way, have the spoken language that resembles the Latin language the most. Nevertheless, I don’t think these European countries would be glad to be labelled and grouped together with the people of South, Central and North America.
The other issue is that the term “Latino” is used to label and group all the countries below the United States as if we were all the same, something that by the way isn’t true. This is a term that somehow erases our identities as separate, different cultures, even if we have a similar origin.
