Increasing cost of fuel might makes people increasing their budget on transportation. It can affect their mobility and make decision to use public transport. Perhaps that's a good idea. Regrading the increasing of the fuel's cost, I think that this isn't a good measure to solve the environmental problems. The people that need the fuel in their lifes will continue to use it, even if the cost is high. In my opinion, our thoughts should be for better alternatives to the use of fuel (preferable non fossil resources).
