Hello! I’m a native Japanese speaker living in Aomori prefecture, Japan. I’m currently working as an online Japanese teacher and as a Japanese calligraphy teacher at a kindergarten. I lived in Canada for six months, so I speak basic English. In my spare time I enjoy going to Karaoke and studying English.
こんにちは！私は日本語が母国語で、日本の青森県に住んでいます。現在インターネットで日本語を教える仕事と、幼稚園で書道を教える仕事をしています。カナダに６ヶ月間住んでいたことがあり、基本的な英語を話すことができます。休みの日は、カラオケに行ったり、英語の勉強をしたりしています。
オンライン日本語教師になって10年以上になります。公民館で日本語を教えていた経験もあり、生徒さんのほとんどが初心者でしたので、初心者の生徒さんがどのような質問をしてくるのか、また、生徒さんが混乱しないように、その質問に答える一番簡単な方法を知っています。italkiの仕事には熱意を持って取り組んでいますので、いつも有益で楽しいレッスンができるよう努力しています。

I had my first trial lesson with Yuri 先生 today and thoroughly enjoyed it! My aim is to improve my Japanese speaking and listening comprehension skills. I was quite nervous at first, but Yuri 先生 put me at ease so quickly with her friendliness and warmth. She was very patient and gave me the chance to express myself, while explaining the vocabulary and correcting my grammar as I went along. I highly recommend Yuri 先生!
