I just had my first lesson with Clare and it was amazing! Just like the other reviews said, she is really engaging in the conversation which keeps it naturally flowing 😊 She shared the vocabulary that I didn’t know and its synonyms in the chat, which made it easier for me to keep up with. I had a good laugh with her as well 🤭 I would definitely recommend her to everyone! 🌻

I had two lessons with Clare so far. I really enjoyed her methods. The first time, we talked about various topics and she took notes on italki for me. This time, she sent me a script that I prepared in advance and we then talked freely about the topic. It was really good for me, because I could prepare everything. However I am still a beginner and I know that I have to review the words and structures and study the grammar on my own to be able to use them without my notes. Clare is very motivating, I have to be careful while listening to understand everything, and she is very patient and gives me feedback when I made mistakes. That is very helpful. I cannot stress enough how great Claire is as a teacher. I truly enjoy every lesson I have with her. She is very engaging in conversation and the lesson goes very smoothly. I am learning a lot with her and have fun.

Clare is very friendly, bubbly, and definitely cares about her students' success. She corrects any mistakes I make in Korean by putting it in chat as I speak which I prefer since I can refer back to it after the lesson ends, see what mistakes I made, and what I made need to practice more. She never makes me feel uncomfortable and I feel more confident in my abilities.
