Santi is the best Indonesian teacher of all iTalki. In her well-prepared lectures she brings in the right amount of challenge, with a perfect mixture of conversation practice, vocabulary and grammar. Santi's classes are instructive and fun. Highly recommended!

I recently completed my fifth lesson with Susanti and I am absolutely thrilled with her teaching style. Opting for the advanced conversation course due to my familiarity with Bahasa Indonesia, I’ve found Susanti's approach incredibly rewarding. The learning atmosphere she creates is truly delightful, tailored to each student’s needs. Susanti's well preparation and her broad general knowledge ensure each session is engaging and informative. What sets her apart is her ability to make even complex topics fascinating and motivating. Not only is learning with Susanti immensely enjoyable, but it also propels me closer to sounding like a native Indonesian speaker and delving deeper into the Indonesian culture. Susanti is a competent and very friendly teacher. She knows how to set up a good lesson. Susanti also has been abroad what makes her lessons more valueable in my eyes. She talks about the goals, the way the lessons will be and will adjust the pace. I can recommend her.

Susanti is by far the most organized and professional language Teacher I have met! Her lessons are always incredible well structured and at the appropriate difficulty level for me to progress. I have struggled before with Indonesian in daily life having studied mainly from formal texts. Susanti's course material is mainly informal language, real spoken Indonesian (bahasa gaul) which has enabled me to start sounding more natural and have a higher level of comprehension in everyday situations. I look forward to many more lessons in the future!

I've been taking classes with Shanti for over a month now. What I quite like is how she offers structured classes with a lot of focus on speaking exercises based around a theme (eg ordering food). You can tell she is an experienced teacher in the way she corrects mistakes. Also her tips and tricks to remember words are really helpful (eg. mahal = expensive = taj mahal). Last, but not least, she is a fun person to talk to. Would definitely recommend.
