Hi, my name is Daisy and I am a native English speaker living in Granada, Spain. When I am not teaching I am busy taking care of my children or, like many of you visiting my profile, struggling to learn a second language. I have been studying Spanish for the last ten years and I am proud to have reached C1 level. My experience as a student helps make me an even better teacher.

I have several years of experience teaching in language schools and online. Each lesson is personalised for the individual, with clear objectives tailored to the goals of each student. I teach using the communicative method. This means that whenever possible YOU will be doing the talking. I will guide you to solve your own problems, rather than lecturing you. In every class you will have the opportunity to correct your own mistakes and practice any difficult language points with practical examples and exercises.

I am very organised and keep detailed records of each class. This allows teacher and student to easily track progress and revise vocabulary and grammar. Each student can access their own online folder where I upload relevant documents. Please check the individual course descriptions for more details.

The lessons fly by as they naturally transition from small talk to various tasks focused on specific vocabulary or grammar. With Daisy, you will feel at eas to speak. You will also receive valuable feedback at the end of each lesson which is very helpful! All comments and tasks are saved in a shared document that allows you to track your progress and review not only new material but also older topics. Most importantly, Daisy is a truly kind person who always supports and encourages you in your English learning journey.

Daisy is a wonderful teacher who gave me a lot of feedback. During the first lesson, we had small talk so as to better know each other. Amazingly, she took detailed note of my mistakes, which helped me refresh a good deal of vocabulary. On top of that, she's patient and willing to help. Highly commended!
